Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using ScreenDrift ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Description of service
ScreenDrift is a browser-based video editing tool that applies 3D camera transforms and animations to video files. All video processing runs locally in your browser. No video data is transmitted to our servers.
The Service is provided as-is. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
Free and Pro tiers
ScreenDrift is free to use with no watermarks, no account, and no export limits. Certain advanced features (Pro animation presets, advanced camera controls) are available under a paid Pro license.
Pro licenses are sold as a one-time payment. You receive a perpetual license to use the Pro features as they exist at the time of purchase, plus any updates made during the active development period. A Pro license does not constitute a subscription and carries no renewal obligation.
Pricing is subject to change. The price you pay at the time of purchase is locked in for your license.
Refunds
Because ScreenDrift is a digital product delivered immediately upon purchase, all sales are final. If you experience a technical issue that prevents the product from working as described, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will work to resolve it or issue a refund at our discretion.
Your content
You retain full ownership of all video files you process using ScreenDrift. We make no claim over your content.
Because all processing is local, we have no access to your video files. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to use and export any content you process through the Service.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to process content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service beyond what is made available under open-source licenses.
You agree not to use automated tools to access the Service in a manner that places excessive load on our infrastructure.
Intellectual property
The ScreenDrift name, logo, design, and underlying software are the intellectual property of ScreenDrift and its contributors. Nothing in these terms grants you a right to use our trademarks or branding.
You may not redistribute or resell the Service or its Pro features as your own product.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
We do not warrant that exported videos will meet any particular quality standard or be compatible with any specific platform or player.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ScreenDrift and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for a Pro license, if any.
Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these terms will be resolved in the jurisdiction where ScreenDrift is based.
